No. 3139 Chinese blue and white hawthorn pot and cover - Qing

Chinese blue and white pot with beautifully carved wooden cover - Huanghuali or Zitan wood. The pot is decorated with a classic hawthorn pattern floating in cracked ice with a band of chevrons to the neck. Double ring mark to the base. Considered to date to mid 19th Century, although possibly earlier. From an old Scottish collection.

Condition: perfect for age.
