Famille rose Ju Ren Tang Zhi Gu vase. Rare early republic piece - circa 1910. Chinese taste. Beautifully painted in famille rose enamels – the top section showing a garden scene with cherry tree and bird, the lower section showing a water scene with water lilies. The bulbous mid-section is unusually decorated in overglaze blue with lotus scrolls and shou characters. There is a four character Ju Ren Tang hall mark to base - ‘Hall where Benevolence Resides’. Generally good condition apart from a 6 cm hairline from the top rim.
