Chinese porcelain underglaze blue small jar, dating to the Kangxi period (1662 - 1722), with a mounted silver top. Nicely decorated, in Chinese style, around body with six ladies playing various musical instruments. The cross formed on the silver top suggests this has been used in Europe as a religious item, to sprinkle holy water.
Condition: silver top in poor condition, with broken hinge. However, still sits tightly on top of bottle. Old repair to neck.
