No 2616 Chinese moulded vase - Yuan dynasty

Chinese moulded Qingbai glaze vase. Dating to 14th Century - late Yuan dynasty. Decorated with 2 phoenix figures and a floral design. It has a deep unglazed foot, broad flaring base, round bulbous body and trumpet shaped neck, covered in a light green Qingbai glaze. Made from low-fired porous clay. Possibly produced as a funerary vase.

Condition: good for age. Signs of wear, scratching to body and nibbles to footrim.
