No. 2442 Small Japanese Noh mask with stand - 19th Century

Small handmade Japanese Okina Noh mask. Believe to date circa 1860 - Meiji period. The mask has amazing shape and detailed facial features, glass eyes, chestnut coloured goatee, moustache and side hair plus slightly raised relief decoration around the eyes.

Stand provided to display the mask.

Size of mask: height 10.5 cm, width 10 cm, depth 6.5 cm

Condition: very small chips to the lacquer in places.
