No 2423 Chinese porcelain tea bowl - dated 1821.

Unusual Chinese porcelain tea bowl due to internal dating of 1821, first year of the Daoguang period, on the inside base. Decorated with a four character commendation in underglaze blue on opposite sides of the bowl ( eg N,E, S, W). Covered in a thick celadon-type glaze - a provincial tea bowl in Chinese taste, probably from the Fujian province.

Good condition for age.
