Rare miniature Chinese export porcelain baluster jar from Kangxi period, circa 1662 - 1722. The hexagonal vase is of compressed form, painted in iron red with gilt highlights. Possibly used as a posy vase when travelling.
Good condition for age- there is a hole to the shoulder which appears to be from manufacture and marks on the base also original. There is a small chip to the foot.
