No 2726 Chinese famille rose tea caddy - 18th Century

Small Chinese famille rose tea caddy dating to Yongzheng period (1723-35). Moulded hexagonal caddy on 4 small legs, decorated to centre front with a cartouche containing a horse with rider and a child throwing flower petals. Scrolling foliage and flowers surround the remainder of the caddy. Jewel-like enamels on bright white porcelain.

Condition: caddy has a chip at the neck. Top has a small fine hairline, chip to underside and missing knop. Does not detract from the beauty of the piece.
