No 2615 Chinese blanc de chine reticulated bowl - 17th Century
Chinese blanc de chine reticulated double walled tea bowl. Dating to the early 17th Century, 1600-1640. Likely to originate from Dehua, Fujian province. The double walled cup has an outer surface with lovely moulded and carved floral design with 2 shou characters. The sections would then have been cut through and an inner wall then added. The join of the two walls can be clearly seen at the top of the cup. Underside of foot features a further pierced 'cash' design. From a deceased estate.
Condition: small shallow chip to rim and minor interior surface wear.
