Large Chinese famille rose pot with metal handles, lid and stand, dating from second half of the 19th Century. Nicely painted - possibly depicting an historical scene. Four character hall mark to base. Displays typical faults of this period eg orange peel glaze to base, pin hole glaze marks, and some glaze run.
Condition: pot is in good condition. Lid generally good although it has two old hair lines.
