Chinese porcelain underglaze blue ewer dating to the late Kangxi period , circa 1720. Decorative Kangxi motif around base and high quality floral decoration, in Chinese taste, around the body. A European silver mount connects the lid to the ewer - featuring a royal face on both sides of the mount.

Condition: old restoration around the top and chips and fritting in other areas - but remains a lovely, unusual piece.
