No. 2737 Chinese porcelain shell-shaped dish - late 18th Century

Chinese porcelain moulded shell-shaped dish, dating to the Qianlong period (1736 - 95). The centre is decorated with scattered flowers and insects using famille rose enamels and some gilding. The bottom edge of the shell is decorated with a leaf pattern in a rose colouring.

Condition: Some kiln marks and grit on base. Some rubbing to gilding and a tiny nibble on corner of shell.

Size: 4cm high, 16 cm wide, 14 cm deep.
