No 2673 Large Chinese porcelain zhadou - early 18th Century

Unusually large Chinese porcelain Gu vase (Zhadou) decorated in famille rose enamels with chrysanthemum heads and other foliage. Dating from the early 18th Century - probably Yongzheng period. A fantastic piece both for size, brilliant white porcelain and quality of decoration. The coffee coloured edging is typical of the period. Condition: a simple museum repair has been undertaken to repair the damaged rim. Star crack on the base.
