No 2668 Clobbered libation cup - Kangxi period

Fine Chinese porcelain blanc de chine (Dehua) libation cup dating to Kangxi period ( 1662 - 1722). This has been exported to Europe and possibly 100 years later painted in vibrant colours by a European craftsman. Known as 'clobbering' , famille rose enamels were used to 'modernise' the cup.

Condition: firing crack on foot. Some crazing inside cup, probably due to the number of times required in muffle kiln.
