No 2437 Chinese Ming dynasty turquoise glaze Gu vase

Chinese turquoise glazed Gu vase dating from the late Ming dynasty. Square form vase with relief decoration - each side showing different scenes. The decoration around the base of the vase represents 4 scholars objects while the upper section shows 4 different flowers - prunus, chrysanthemum, lotus and peony.

Condition: commensurate with age - crackle, loss of glaze in places and chipping around edges.

Size: height 20.5 cm, width x depth 7.5 cm x 7.5 cm
