No 2440 Japanese Arita shallow dish

Good quality Japanese Arita moulded shallow dish with scalloped rim and a commendation mark on base. Decorated in underglaze blue with a typical scene of mountains, water and a pagoda surrounded by trees and rocks. The rim is decorated in blue throughout - probably symbolising water with floating flowers.

Condition: good but with a small kintsugi repair to the rim.
