D Young- 1892

Oil on canvas - very nicely executed, with beautiful detailing.  Scottish school.  Scene shows a house and garden with a soldier in the doorway.  SS ??? is written on the back of the canvas – possibly the name of a ship.

Size: 35.5 x 24.5 cm – no frame provided

Condition: Tear in canvas (1cm width) – but this does not detract from the beauty of the painting.  Some cracking – consistent with age.
